According to Cititel Penang general manager Jeffrey Goh during an interviewed with Business Times, CITITEL Hotel Management Sdn Bhd (CHM) is looking to tap visitors from China and India for its property in Penang Island.
He said it is currently working with local agents in Penang to create attractive travel packages to penetrate the Chinese and Indian markets and sell the Penang Island state as a Unesco heritage-listed destination. It is expected to enter these new markets by the fourth quarter of the year
Recently, Cititel Penang has invested RM2 million to refurbish its ballroom and superior rooms.
