According to the news report, Penang’s RM250mil Rice Miller Weld Quay mixed development project is set to kick off next year (2010) after receiving the go-ahead from local authorities on 1 December 2009 . It was scheduled for completion in late 2011
The Rice Miller Weld Quay Development comprises a 50-room hotel, two office blocks, retail shops and 80 apartments.It is a development project by Asian Global Business
The hotel to be built at the Rice Miller Weld Quay is one of the two in inner George Town that have to comply with the 18m-height guideline imposed after the city was declared a World Heritage Site in July last year.
