The beach route is Teluk Bahang-Persiaran Gurney while Persiaran Gurney-Penang Hill will be the city route. The colour code for the buses are pink for beach route and green for city.
Signboards have been put up at 33 stops at numerous locations throughout the island. Two main interchanges are are located at Gurney Drive and Chowrasta Market.
Operation hour for the Penang Island Hop-On Hop-Off buses is from 9am to 8pm daily.
The double-decker bus is air-conditioned but the front half of the upper deck is an open-air section.
One bus can seat 60 passengers and is equipped with disabled-friendly features.
For non-Malaysian tourists, tickets to ride on the buses are priced at RM45 (adults) and RM19 (children above five and below 12). For MyKad holders, the tickets are RM19 (adults) and RM12 (children). Students who show their student card can enjoy a discounted rate at children’s prices. Tickets are valid for 12 hours. Tickets can be purchased at the interchange or visitors can pay when they board the bus.
